"The Land Under White Wings" series. This work speaks not so much of a journey as of the pull of a place to which one cannot remain indifferent. The space of the painting unfolds like a land that has absorbed traces of movement, waiting, disappearance, and return. Lines cross its surface like barely visible routes, while the lighter accents gather the composition around a sense of home.
Home is not shown directly. It exists as an inner point of attraction—a place that continues to call even when it can no longer be seen. The return takes place through the recognition of light, rhythm, and the colours of the earth; through the sudden feeling that everything around you was once part of you.
Each year, flocks of storks draw an invisible map of return across the sky. Their arrival reminds us that the bond with the land has not been broken and that the circle has closed once again. The white wings above the earth become a sign that the road home continues to exist for as long as the memory of the place to which one longs to return remains alive.
