"The Land Under White Wings" series. The work turns to a moment when the journey must begin, yet the connection to the place being left behind still remains. Light elements gather into a circular movement above the warm expanse of the land. Like storks before a long migration, they pass once more over the familiar landscape before disappearing beyond its boundaries.
This movement is perceived less as the beginning of a journey than as a gesture of farewell. It holds the desire to linger for one more moment, to remember the contours of the landscape and carry forward a sense of belonging to it. The familiar place is not depicted literally; it emerges through colour, intersecting lines and the composition’s inner pull.
The final circle becomes a boundary between nearness and distance, presence and approaching absence. Yet movement into the distance does not imply a complete separation. Even when the flock leaves the visible space, it remains connected to the land above which its journey began. The work therefore holds farewell, memory and the quiet possibility of return.
