Ingot is a handwoven natural fibre rug from our Tribal Collection, meticulously crafted by skilled artisans using Black Beauty–dyed Karakul wool as its foundation. This deep, saturated fibre provides bold contrast and a grounded, sculptural presence, forming the base for the rug’s layered design. The pattern is brought to life with Etosha bouclé yarn, a natural mohair texture known for its soft, looped surface. The pale, dimensional loops introduce subtle highlights and tactile depth, creating a rhythmic interplay of shadow and light that defines the rug’s expressive character. This combination of dark, bold Karakul with light, airy Etosha bouclé embodies the Tribal Collection’s focus on authentic fibres, natural variation, and hand-driven design, producing a rug that feels both grounded and visually dynamic. Renowned for its softness, durability, and resilience, Karakul and mohair fibres provide a comfortable underfoot experience while maintaining structural integrity over time. Expertly handwoven, Ingot blends traditional craftsmanship with a contemporary aesthetic, making it a versatile addition to any interior. As a luxury heirloom-quality rug, Ingot is designed to endure and complement a wide range of spaces. Its natural palette, tactile depth, and sculptural presence make it ideal for living rooms, bedrooms, lodges, and hospitality interiors, bringing confident sophistication to both minimal and richly layered environments.
