Forms 1, This 6 colour hand pulled screen prints is approximately 420 x 594 mm. Printed on 220gsm acid-free paper. Every print is signed and number in pencil, printed in a limited edition run of 14 and finished with deckled edges. ‘Forms 1’ tunes into the expressive, visual forms of the twentieth century’s most contentious architectural constructions: the concrete kind. Greyscale photographs of zig-zagging window bays and softly curved building facades intersect with abstract swathes of pigment in 1960s shades of teal and mustard yellow, for a beautiful homage to the Brutalist dream.
