"When the Clay Turns Cold" series. The wind cannot be seen directly — its presence is revealed through what has been displaced, disturbed, or carried away. When the movement ends, the space becomes quiet again, but it does not return to its former state.
The same is true after an inner upheaval. The event itself may be over, yet the changes it has caused continue to unfold long afterwards. Familiar connections dissolve, the former order loses its meaning, and the silence that follows becomes not an emptiness, but a period of gradual realisation.
After the Wind is a work about a state in which destruction has already ended, while a new form has not yet emerged. It considers resilience not as the ability to restore everything to the way it was, but as a willingness to rebuild one’s relationship with an altered space. Sometimes continuing to live means not recovering what has been lost, but learning to exist among what remains.
