I grew up at the shore, watching waves erase everything in their path, crabs, shells, sand dollars, and feeling, for just a moment, beautifully insignificant.

This piece began with a piece of driftwood I pulled from the Truckee River, where I spent years floating its banks and wandering its edges. The driftwood is heavy, long, and full of stories. I treated it by hand before a single knot was tied.

A band of the rope is hand-dyed with wild berries, a deep blue, unrepeatable. Every strand knotted by hand to capture that feeling: the overwhelm of something enormous arriving, and then the silence after it recedes. The circular details in the rope, those are sand dollars.

A wave takes everything in its path. Then life continues. The ocean remains. The cycle starts again.

We keep pretending we are bigger than it.

Handmade fiber art and botanical work. Slow making. Intentional sourcing.

Fiber art. Botanical work. Textile curation.

I'm a Colombian artist working from a shared studio in Incline Village, Nevada, at the edge of Lake Tahoe, where the light and seasons shape everything I make.

My practice is built around slow making and intentional sourcing. Natural fibers, botanical materials, handmade processes that take time. Original works and curated artisan goods sourced from Colombia, Morocco, and around the world, each piece carries its story with it.
