Layers of colour gather and unfold across the surface like fragments of an ancient landscape. Greens, ochres, and muted earth tones overlap in sweeping, organic forms, suggesting weathered rock, sediment, distant cliffs and the gradual movement of the natural world.
Each layer appears to have been shaped by the one beneath it, creating a sense of depth without relying on conventional perspective. The irregular edges and fluid contours give the work a tactile quality, while the contrasting colours move between warmth and coolness, stillness and energy.
