'Fault Lines'

Two panels come together to form a densely layered landscape of fractured colour and movement. Fine strokes of ochres and greens accumulate across the surface, resembling compressed rock, weathered cliff faces and layers shaped over immense periods of time.
The composition has a strong horizontal energy, with the layers appearing to shift, break apart and reform as they travel across the two panels. The deep turquoise-green ground creates a striking contrast, allowing the earthy tones to emerge almost like exposed strata.
